I found a white blazer and I think the black silk sash will add a bit of pop to the outfit while also mimicking the black border as seen on Blake. I am DYING over these shoes too... super cute and cheap, like me! oh.

Yay I'm back! This Selma outfit is soooo my cup o' milkshake. I had those hot pink pumps 4 years ago, and I'm so glad they're making a comeback. This outfit is perfect for an event or date or even a casual wedding... lil black dress with bright pumps, that's the way to do it bro, and this black dress is from TARGET if you can believe it. The detail of the feminine bow/belt is perfect and so modern. It's amazing what Target is doing these days with their designs. It's starting to get old when people ask me where something I'm wearing is from and I have to say "oh, it's from target". I'm sick of it, you hear me!? SICK OF IT. Just kidding, I love it, keep doing it.

If you don't want to bare your arms, a jean jacket with a popped collar or a little black cardigan would be perfect. Perfect just like Whitney. Who thought a blank stare, zombie accent and a gum smack or two could land a gal her own show. So jealous.

TO THE FOUR PEOPLE WHO READ THIS... I'm so sorry that I have not been up to snuff with the blogging. Well, let's face it I'm super flakey. But I've been trying to take over Hollywood and I find that being a big shot producer requires much more time than my old work days that consisted of reading Perez, watching So You Think You Can Dance on youtube, online shopping and two hour lunches. That being said, I am happy to be back and this an outlet that truly makes me happy, even if my boyfriend's mom (hey Diane!) is the only person reading.

That being said...
I can't tell you how good it feels to write about a woman in Hollywood who has actually done something to deserve her fame besides showing her muff in a limo paparazzi shot. Julia Roberts is and always will be stunningly beautiful. Her style is classic and elegant and now more than ever chicly comfortable. She has an old school Ralph Lauren-meets-LL Bean-meets the Oscars nominee brunch vibe to her style that sometimes borders on 90's but always proves to be beautiful. I love her. And I hope there will be more strong, poised women in Hollywood who actually care about acting and making outstanding work that people actually want to see, without a possible reality TV show deal in the works. AMEN SISTAH FRIEND!

I LOVE my lil' Hiwawy! She's so f'ing cute. And I am so proud of her staying out of the tabs these days. I think of Lohan and then I think of Hillary and it's like comparing Anna Nicole Smith and Judy Garland, well in my brain at least. Hillary is classy through and through and it's no exception with this outfit. She's constantly smashing out these wonderful little frilly ensembles, and I love her for it. Be very careful you keep this outfit as simple and modern as possible. It can easily take the tone of 90's Wet Seal/Contempo. Just be careful is all I'm sayin'. And take note of how tan her legs are. If you can't tone it, tan it, right Hill?!
